Gott, aller Schöpfung heil'ger Herr,
Zu deines Reiches Glanz und Ehr
Hast du der Engel Schar bestellt,
Für hohe Dienste sie erwählt.

Du sendest sie als Boten aus,
Dein Wort geht in die Welt hinaus.
Groß ist in ihnen deine Kraft,
Dein Arm sind sie, der Wunder schafft.

Nur das deutsche Gesangbuch enthält einen Text zum Thema "Engel". In den anderen Sprachen handelt es sich um einen allgemeinen Hymnus. Da es sich um einen Vierzeiler handelt, kann man im Deutschen Liedtexte wie z.B. 474 (220, 245, 228) auf diese Melodie singen.

Nun jauchzt dem Herren, alle Welt!
Kommt her, zu seinem Dienst euch stellt!
Kommt mit Frohlocken, säumet nicht,
Kommt vor sein heil'ges Angesicht.

Die ihr nun wollet bei ihm sein,
Kommt, geht zu seinen Toren ein
Mit Loben durch der Psalmen Klang
